Is there an effect for form elements that are shown/hidden with conditional logic

Hey guys,

I'm just about to launch a big survey, which heavily uses conditional logic to shape the survey to match the user.

Is there any way to add effects to the form elements being hidden and shown? Ideally I'd like to have a fade effect on them, just so there is some time for the user to actually realise that more or less elements are now on the page.

Cheers

No, there is no way to do that with FormSpring at this time.

Ok. Well while this is still in the support forum, can I put in a feature request for this functionality please? When heavily using the conditional logic like I am with the survey, you can loose sight of exactly whats appearing because its just there instantaniously.

Are the fields on your form showing up out of order? I think most people fill out a form from top to bottom, and if new empty fields show up below fields they just filled out, I think they know they need to fill out those empty fields.

If you are having these fields show up above where the user is typing, I would move them down on the form.

No, all my conditional logic appears below the element that toggles them.

I just think that it would improve usability a lot to have the appear or disappearing forms have some sort of fade or slide effect on them. Basically a visual cue that what they were working on has changed. Otherwise I think its too easy to miss that change. I prefer my users to be fully aware of whats going on, not be surprised when all of a sudden theres another section to fill out and theyre not sure where it came from.
