2.5. File Upload Fields

File upload fields are managed in the same way that other form fields are managed.  You can add a file upload field by clicking on the Add Field button within the form builder and then choosing File Upload.

When you create a File Upload field you can specify a list of allowed file extensions, or use an asterisk "*" to allow any file extension.

In a form's settings, under E-mails & Redirects > Notification E-mails you can specify whether you'd like to receive the file uploads as attachments in notification emails, or if you'd only like to receive them as attachments if they're below a certain size. If you choose not to receive the files as attachments your emails will contain a link where you can view or download the file.

Each form is limited to a total submission size of 25 MB, while your account can store uploads according to the plan you're on:

  • Free: No File Uploads
  • Personal: 250 MB
  • Professional: 500 MB
  • Business: 1 GB
  • Max: 5 GB

File upload fields are not currently available for forms on free accounts.

Replace or Delete Uploaded Files

If you need to replace or delete a file that was uploading through one of your forms, browse to the data page for that form and click on the edit button next to the entry with the file you want to modify.

Once you're on the edit page for that file, you can click on the link that says "replace or remove current file" in order to replace or remove that file.
