2.14. Allowing Users to Save & Resume Forms
If you create a multi-page form, users will automatically be able to save their progress and come back to your form at a later date to finish completing it. On a single page form, they will not be able to do this. If you have a single page form that's so long you think users may get tired before filling it out completely, you should seriously consider breaking the form up into multiple pages.
The link for a user to save a form will be found at the bottom of each page of a multi-page form, except for the last page. Once the user clicks this link, they will be taken to a page with a URL they need to cut and paste.
The user will have to save this URL and paste it into their browser to come back to the form later. Once they paste this URL in their browser, the form will be reloaded and any fields they filled out before will still be filled out with their info.
The user will have one week to return to finish filling out the form, after which their data will be lost.
Please Note: The save & resume feature will NOT work on encrypted forms.
Turning Save & Resume On Or Off
You can turn this feature on/off by scrolling to the bottom of the form builder and clicking on the Form Extras button. Then browse to the Form Progress tab and check/uncheck the "Show Save & Resume Link" checkbox.
